Job Duties
· Present and sell products and services using a needs-based approach
· Make outbound calls to offer insurance and financial services
· Prepare quotes and effectively present options
· Provide exceptional customer service
· Assist customers with claims, payments, billing, and other service-related issues
· Accurately handle policy changes and account updates
· Recognize opportunities to offer additional products or services
· Participate in training and team meetings
· Perform other related duties as assigned by the agent
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to develop relationships with customers and prospects
- Ability to process information quickly, handle several tasks at once, and remain organized
- Ability to influence others
- Ability to learn and become proficient with various computer applications
- Ability to obtain Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses
- Negotiation and persuasion skills
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Office experience preferred
- Sales experience desired but not required
